Introduction

Being successfully developed based on decade’s research and development experience of stepping and servo, SC-HSD86H digital combination servo drive is a new type combination servo drive launched my our company. By adopting latest dedicated motor control DSP chip and typical three closed-loop vector control technology (velocity loop, position loop and electric current loop), it thoroughly overcomes step lose problem of step motor when open the loop. At the same time, it obviously increases high speed performance of motor, decreases heat generation of motor, reduces its vibration, and consequently promotes machine’s working speed and precision, as well as lowers energy consumption. In addition, the drive owns the same reliability with ac servo system, which will give alerting signal when the motor is overloaded continuously. Certainly, the installation dimension of the motor is completely compatible with traditional 86 series stepping motor. It is very easy to upgrade traditional stepping drive scheme. The cost of this drive is as 50% of traditional ac servo system.

[Attention] Because of the easy generating of condensation or frosting brought by fierce change of storage environment temperature, the drive should be placed for more than 12 hours and be powered on for operation until its temperature is the same as that of environment.

Attention: resistance R is not required to be connected to external signal control input port if the control signal level is +5V, which is the diagram of signal control input and output connector showed    in figured 1. R shorts out in the figure. Signal control input port should be connected with external 1K resistance when the signal control level is +12V; Signal control input port should be connected with external 2K resistance when the signal control level is +24V.


Status directive function

Green LED is the power light. LED keeps light when the drive is in an energized state. LED goes out when the power of drive is cut off. Red LED is the fault indicating lamp. This indicating lamp shines every 5 seconds when the drive breaks down. Red LED keeps black when the fault is eliminated. The flash frequency of red LED is 2Hz. Among which, it will be black for 300ms when LED shines 200 ms. The shining time of red LED within 5 seconds means different fault information. The specific relationship is showed in the following table:

The drive will halt when there is fault. The user need to disconnect power source and reconnect the power source to eliminate the fault.
